My goal as an artist is to take something usually considered ugly and make it beautiful. Taking something scary and making it opulent. I’ve been sculpting for more than 20 years; I’ve always had an interest in the macabre, and I love turning that dark theme into objects of art that are approachable and even celebrated. I love meeting new people at the many shows I frequent and introducing them to my work.
